Keyboard/mouse problems

Post by killer-cop » Sun Mar 26, 2006 8:58 pm

Hey there

I have just bougt a new keyboard and mouse, the Logitech Cordless MX3000 Laser. Now when I tried to open Blender and make some 3D I realised that i could not rotate the view any more, with the middle mouse button. I fixed that with "emulate middle mouse button", but now I have realised I can't translate the view either! :-( What can I do? Please help here, I would appreciate that...

Check the settings of the mouse buttons, may be the midle button is assigned to another function.

both microsoft's "intellimouse" software and logitech's equlivent change the middle mouse buttons behavior to something stupid

so go into the mouse properties and set the middle mouse button's behavior to "autoscroll" or the logitech equlivent.

[in the future avoid installing mouse software, for keyboards this isn't an issue]
