shaded view screwed since 2.41

The shaded view, since 2.41, only displays varied and multicoloured with no bearing on materials.
I run win xp pro with nvidia geforce 5200 card.
Is it my card or the same for everyone?

I don't understand what you're saying, can you post a comparison picture and .blend or something?

I got a similar problem as above. But my textured view seems not to work as intendet.

This is my solid view:

Did I do something wrong? :?

the textured view has nothing to do with procedural materials

unless you apply materials by uv mapping then it will not look particularly interesting
