I'm blender user for now 6 years, I also use Max and Maya.
I just wonder if, a day, we coult use a split polygon tool like in maya.
Split edge ring tool (ctrl +r) is interesting but limited. I mean, if you don't
wanna make a ring split. It's also be interesting to make face with more that 4 or 5 vertex.
like in this sample : (maya & 3dsmax)


it will make new Blender adept, because it's one of the most modeling needed function. (for non blender users)
