yeah I had no success with the dotXSI format.
But I tried Collada it was exellent for the models I sent from blender to and from XSI.
I also tried LWO and obj back and forth.

Now the collada was1.4 (which initially wouldnt work, so I dloaded the latest blender collada and installed it as per instructions on the site http://colladablender.illusoft.com/ . check it out.

The only thing I hate is the rotations of the objects y-up vrs z-up. So the stuff always gets rotated. Anyway , checkit out.

Hi...well plain geometry seems to work fine in obj format....
do u think it's possible to send particle strands as geometry to be rendered in Xsi???
That would seriously rock...

Hi Zoogie,

Could you tell me what's up with the rotations of the axis? Maybe i can fix it?
