Window Positions

Post by ddwagnz » Sat Sep 09, 2006 7:41 am

Hi,
Is there a way to keep the windows where they are when Blender starts or save the layout so you can go back to it if you needed to exit out of blender and didnt save anything and went back into blender?
Cheers
Dave

Ctrl U.

Next time, ask questions like this on the USER's FORUM (http://blenderartists.org/forum/) instead. This is the DEVELOPER's FORUM.

Slightly offtopic: i wonder how devs can expect people to know it's a developper forum, while on blender3d.org there is a big 'forum' button leading here? perhaps the main page should be changed to a 'developper forum' button... seems like LOTS of users post here

If you click on the 'Forum Index' what is the first header you see'
|-Blender user forums-|
User Forums blenderartists.org
Have questions about how to use blender? Want to show the world your works of art? Vist blenderartists.org.
Other Community Sites
There are so many great sites that we have a seprate page dedicated to them. We encourage you to check them out.

|-Blender developer forums-|

General discussion about the development of the open source Blender
That is what I see, the top is clearly labeled user forums, the bottom ones are clearly labeled developer forums.

Although I think it would be clearer to change the Forum index into two seperate links...
