Post by josefcarel » Wed Oct 11, 2006 11:32 am

Im trying to open my Blender program but I get the following error message:

Using Python version 2.4
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
ERROR: Unable to open Blender window

Im working in my Dell Laptop with Linux Ubuntu Breezy 5.01

What's the problem? What to do?

you don't have opengl installed/it's not working. You need to make sure that you have either the accelerated graphics drivers installed, or that you have MesaGL. I can't tell you much more, unless you tell me what kind of system you're working on.
