MakeHair

Post by cochedelaferte »

Hi all,

Has anyone a way found to make the MakeHair Python script working on the latest versions (like 2.46) of Blender ?

Actually for me a part of this script runs, but trying to export my model as ribfile, i get following :

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "MakeHairCorrectedRibE", line 432, in draw
File "MakeHairCorrectedRibE", line 409, in saveRib
File "MakeHairCorrectedRibE", line 330, in createObjects
File "MakeHairCorrectedRibE", line 381, in subdivmesh
AttributeError: 'int' object has no attribute 'r'

I tried several things with this "attribute r", but wasn't able to solve the issue.

Best regards,

Sergio

Why bother?

The internal hair system can do everything that makehair could, and a lot more...

Hi LetterRip,

Thank's greatly for your reply : what do you mean exactly with "the internal hair system" ? In Makehuman ? In Blender itself ?

I'm very interested to find a stable way to build hairs, as you can understand...

Cheers,

Sergio

OK : solved for MakeHair, works fine with the 2.42 Blender version (from Blender repository) and Python-2.4.

LetterRip was referring to the Hair and Fur features of Blender 2.46. If you are using 2.42, you might want to upgrade. See the release notes here:
