Help with python scripts

Post by DirtyDel »

I've been troubleshooting for hours... Yes... I'm a noob. I've gotten to this point when importing .nif into blender.

these are the versions I'm running
PyFFI-2.1.5.cb92090.win32 (64 bit selected)

Hmm, when I try creating a default SAX2 parser on my system:

Code: Select all

ldo@theon:~> python
Python 2.6.6 (r266:84292, Oct  9 2010, 12:24:52)
[GCC 4.4.5] on linux2
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> import xml.sax
>>> p = xml.sax.make_parser()
>>> help(p)
Help on instance of ExpatParser in module xml.sax.expatreader:

class ExpatParser(xml.sax.xmlreader.IncrementalParser, xml.sax.xmlreader.Locator)
 | SAX driver for the pyexpat C module.
 |  Method resolution order:
 |      ExpatParser
 |      xml.sax.xmlreader.IncrementalParser
 |      xml.sax.xmlreader.XMLReader
 |      xml.sax.xmlreader.Locator
So it seems to be using Expat as a parser. Do you have Expat on your system?
