PNG sequence script

Post by troot » Fri Sep 12, 2003 4:03 pm

Hi all

I'd like a python script which will allow me to save each keyframe of an animation as a seperate png file (or whatever) with the keyframe number appended to the file name.
EG if the filename is myImg, then each keyframe would be saved as myImg_X.png.
I don't know if this is a very difficult thing to ask but I don't know anything about python and even less about the inner structure of Blender, so I'm at your mercy :?.

Yours hopefully

I might be misunderstanding you. Do you mean every frame where you have an ipo keyframe, or do you mean every frame of the animation in which case:

Why do you want to do it through python???

1) Go to the renderbuttons,
2) select PNG as your output,
3) select a directory where you want to save your files and the name of the files,
4) select extensions,
5) define the start and end frames,
6) just press Anim!
