link_append(link=False) still links instead of appending

Post by hyOzd » Sun Jun 30, 2013 11:18 am

I'm trying to append an object from another .blend file with this python command

Code: Select all

 >> bpy.ops.wm.link_append(directory='./libraryfile.blend/Object/',filename='objectname',link=False)
I expect it to append but it stills links the object. What am I missing here?

By the way going from menu File->Append works.

Interesting, using absolute path instead of a relative one works. Like this;

Code: Select all

>> bpy.ops.wm.link_append(directory='/home/user/libraryfile.blend/Object/',filename='objectname',link=False)
This looks like a bug to me, any opinions?
