Gimp palettes import Script

Post by raphael »

Hello,

I made a script to import Gimp's palettes into Blender. Then you can apply them to materials or to the entire mesh.

here's an example

I'm working with linux and i did not try it on a Mac or Windows.
dowload it here

it's a little buggy... but it works fine on low poly meshs (avoid non-manifold)

Have fun :)

You might want to post this at a users forum.

I mean, lot's of users might want to use your script. And not all users hang out here.

I'm not sure if the python forum on Blender.org is for scripts made with python, I think it's more about implementation of python in blender.
