Dear People

I am an absolute newbei to this forum as well as 3d. I downloaded Blender after I came across some stunning images made in Blender.

My problem is this.

I installed Python24 on my machine (PIII, 512RAM, 40GB HDD, Logitech Scroll mouse, Intel 845GL chipset) at c:\Python24.

But after I start Blender2.27a, something like a dos box also starts and says could not find installed python; some scripts might not run; but continuing happily.

I went to the preferences and pointed out the Python directory and restarted Blender2.27a. But still the dos box says the same.

I may be missing out on something very basic, but I will be very glad for any help.

Thanks in advance

re: the third post here

note: you will have to change "Python20" to "Python24" each time you use it

note2: Python version 2.4* only works with Blender 2.4/2.4pre-release/current CVS. I suggest installing python 2.4 and waiting for the next release. Python 2.4 will not work with blender 2.37, that version is linked to python 2.3
