If i am right, there are to different ways to apply textures to a face.
One is over the uv editor and the other over a material.
It is somehow hard if you want to use face uv coordinates for a texture that is linked to a material. I have to go into uv face select mode (1) and uv editor (2), then select the texture image in the editor manually (3).
Question: is there a way to do the last step (3) automatically? depending on the material the face uses?
