I've made a few notes about the blender source code, along with a few links to other peoples notes.

Some notes/funny quotes on the blender source code.

My favorite blender source quote is from
the 1.8 sources: there is a pointer to a
XClassHint structure in glut-x11/glut_win.c
called 'zeldaiscool'.
Chris
P.S. Coincidentally, the absence of such
a structure in the GHOST source is what
causes blender 2.25 not to register it's
WM_CLASS and as a result screws up
full screen on several UNIX window
managers (I'll try to fix it if I ever get
blender compiled).

OT: WM_CLASS
this ugly piece of code should set the WM_CLASS property:Hos wrote: P.S. Coincidentally, the absence of such

I didn't bother to make the blender window fullscreen w/o borders by default, as kde seems to have some issues with that. However, you can make the blender window borderless with WindowMaker (and probably other window managers).

I'll give it a try soon!
