what about a "save changes before quit"-feature?

Post by kerosene » Fri Oct 25, 2002 11:57 pm

heyho.

just came into my mind.. it's something that can save you hours of work early in the morning hitting "quit" with one eye open...heh (yeah.. i know the temp feature.. but browsing through thousands of 1012*9*3**.blends isn't fun either..)
never happened to me though (thank god! lol)
but i guess it wouldn't be such a problem to implement...

just a suggestion. :)

keep blending!

Yeah, this would be nice. Maybe if it kept a copy of the current .blend in the same directory called lastedited(nameofblend).blend

There is somthing like this, but I'm not sure if it works properly. If you look in the temp dir where the other tmp blend's are there is one call quit.blend thid should be the file that was open when you last quite.

Yeah, and if we don't quit we can take away the save option.
