from Hannover, but living in Pinneberg (next to Hamburg) for almost 9 years...

Just discovered blender a few days ago and I am very surprised about the high quality, complexity and of course the price and history...
I work at a music software company and did not do much graphics and 3d during the last few years. 12 years ago I enjoyed Imagine on my Amiga where it took 1-6 hours to render a simple scene that only takes 5-20 seconds on my Powerbook nowadays

Amiga jesus yes haha 16 bit images with crapy resolution and chopy detail. Lightwave was a hit in it! Wuhuhu
Amiga was my first PC and it took me ages to understand what the hell the startup sequence was. so embarrassing!
ya blender is cool. tough price thru. took me ages to work for it. i give the people here a lot of credit for their work. i found blender pertty mixed. some high productive tools and some tools very very old. but the process here they make with develloping is amazing. and again credit lots of credits to the coders!!!
