Moving Gamemode Properties and other stuff

Post by SirDude » Wed Nov 06, 2002 10:02 pm

Not sure if this post should be here or somewhere else.

I figured this is as good a place as any.

After talking to someone on blendersauce and then thinking about it
for a little while.

It might make more sense to move gamemode properties out of game
mode and put them in the edit object window.
This way we could use properties for animations as well.
Whos to say the physics couldn't be used in an animation.
You could also then use properties for import/export attributes that are not used by blender.

It would also be cool if you could tie a property to an IPO curve.

A future version of blender might even intigrate things further so
that realtime mode is just an other output format.

It might even simplify the internal code.

Just a though.

sounds great to me. in many ways animation is easier in the game engine because of dynamic triggering, enter and exit messages, and other gamestate controls. you got me thinkin 8)
