Ignore Occluded

In Tuhopuu Build you can find this very Usefull Option:Ignore Occluded for Vertices Select.
I think this must be Insered in the Special Menue in Blenders Edit Mode .....why is this not in the Official Blender release 2.34?

Thats a very Important Feature!!!

perhaps because the feature isn't final yet?

[none of us are stopping you from doing it yourself, or simply using tuhopuu instead of bf-blender]

Its ment not to be final.... I, you should probably join the Tuhopuu mailinglist for tuhopuu spesific questions, sunce the coders on in will likely have some answer.

I guess this is where I step in!

I'm currently working on improving the Ignore Occluded code before I feel it is fit for inclusion in an official build. (I'm a bit of a perfectionist!)

It prevents the selection of vertices that are behind the object. Sometimes (and perhaps more commonly) known as "Ignore Backface".

the feature would be much better if it could ignore all view of any vertex or face or edge , just as "backface culling"...Wings3D has it
