malefico:
I'm trying and trying and can't quite reproduce your problems. Everything seems fine here
so far.
BTW: I made an update 23:00 yesterday, try downloading it again if you downloaded
the "24" version earlier than 23:00 yesterday! It might have been a bugfix.
Anyway - I'll probably update this thread with even another version either
today or another day depending on the changes in Blender.
Stay tuned - this thread will be updated with new versions as long as I have the
time to do so.

Hi, I've compiled it myself today and yup, it still crashes. I do this, create an armature, select a couple of bones (clicking in the middle of the bone, not the tips), then press L with mouse over armature -> Segfault.
Regards
malefico.
EDIT: Funny, it doesn't happen all the time, I'll keep testing to figure out WHEN exactly happens...

I've gotta hand it to the developers,
those new loopcut tools rule!
For those who don't know what I'm talking about, try these things in the version of
16-8-2005:
1) Select Ctrl + R for loopcut
2) Scroll with the scrollwheel to select number of loops to cut (or use + & - keys)
3) Press "S" for smoothing cuts if you want that...
Sweeet....
And the new & improved (1000 times over again and changing all the time) edgeslide
is quite useful too (see it in the Ctrl E menu for edge specials)
The edgeloop delete has "hemesh" qualities...here you can delete edges and keep the
faces
No need to do "f" after deleting an edge (or a row of edges/loop) after
this...niiiice.

Cannot run program
I get this error when I try to run the program from within the folder where I have Blender 2.37. It doesn't run at all when outside this folder.
/home/pam/Desktop/blender-2.37a-linux-glibc2.2.5-i386-static/blender-20-8: error while loading shared libraries: libpng.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Sorry if this is a basic question.
