Crowd Simulation

Honestly, I don't see this as ever being integrated into the main package for Blender. Crowd simulation (eg. my Blenderpeople scripts) has its own whole subset of problems and solutions completely apart from 3D graphics. There are parameters, rules, conditions for individual Actors, there are many different ways of generating motion and determining your Actors next moves. It's basically a completely seperate application.
Now, could something like Blenderpeople be more closely integrated and simpler to use in the future (fewer outside dependencies)? It sure could, and that would be a great thing. It would be awesome to say that Blender users have an "easily configurable crowd simulation plugin" available. But I don't see as it would even be the right decision to integrate it into source, even if it could be done.
