Hi,
NEWS:
1) Changes of mesh geometry comming from other verse clients are visualised in object mode too.
2) You can try experimental undo in edit mode.
3) Shared objects have different color of object center.
4) it is possible to rename object node (when you rename nameof mesh object, then object node is renamed too and this change is sent to verse server)
5) Several bug fixes
You can find all testing builds as well documentation at:
http://wiki.blender.org/bin/view.pl/Ble ... derUserDoc
Read user documentation carefully and keep in mind, that only Mesh Object is supported (object transformation, edit mode actions).
Feel free to send me any commentary.

Yes, It`s awesome! What are the plans for the undo? It causes strange behavior when two users are editing the same mesh.
Edit. the wiki says:
Edit. the wiki says:
TODO
* support for undo (object mode, edit mode, etc.)
* verse update and verse callback function in seperated thread (to get rid of terminated connections)
* Add support for 'verse edges' at least as internal data structure
* Pushing mesh geometry to verse server, when Object is in object mode
* Visualisation of shared object (different color of Object center)
* Better handling of verse sessions (reconnect, etc.)
* Visualisation of verse layers in Outliner
* Support for subsurf
* Vertex color
* Vertex weight
* UV
* Armatures, Bones
* RVK
* etc.
well, I think I cant describe it. because zanqdo and me were trying the build..jiri wrote:Undo system isn't supported now. When you press "U" in edit mode, then you can expect strange behavior. Undo (ctrl-z) doesn't work in object mode too. What problems do you have, when two users edit same object? Can you describe it exactly?
Jiri
we were trying with the build, making extrusions etc, everything seems to be ok untill I pressed Ctrl+Z (Undo) in edit mode, and then the object go back to the start, almost every extrusion dissapear

that`s what i remember

thanks for your hosting of bleder-verse binaries.
I put my binaries at my old sites, because I can create and upload my linux binaries with one simple bash script ;-).
