Wiki Down WIKI DOWN!!!

Post by tgraupmann »

I can no longer access the wiki:
http://wiki.blender.org/bin/view.pl/Ble ... derUserDoc

Sorry for the inconvenience but twiki seems to have serious security issues. We have disabled the twiki until further notice.

Sometimes these things have default messages like 'danger' when the db goes down. Just checking if the danger message is authentic.

yes the message is authentic - twiki was closed down at spreadfirefox as well due to security issues. We have mediawiki.blender.org perhaps someone will migrate the twiki stuff to there.

is the reason I'm getting a demand for a user name and password to go to wiki because it's down or is there a need for a user name and password?

Banned??

wiki.blender.org is down - noone can log in

mediawiki.blender.org uses a different database for authentication, thus you need to re-sign up.

Also you need to request edit permissions on #blenderwiki
