Particles are maintaining every the same width, independently of the distance from the camera. It causes an impression of density drecreasing/increasing. You can see it in the vídeo below.

Another problem is that sufsurf isn't being suported. When I aplly a subsurf to a mesh, particles appears like if the mesh haven't subsurf like ins this image.

Another problem is that when using vertex groups to control the size of particles it forms stairs istead of change the size gradually. You also can se it in the front part of the hair in the image
