I created a very simple cylinder going thru a cube. I gave them each a texture. I unwrapped it and exported it. Problem is when I exported them, instead of having different textures they both had the same texture. Also when I bring it back into Blender and hit F12 for Render View it just renders it as a completely black shape. Not sure what is going on. Any help will be much apprieciated.

Something is getting lost in translation between formats.
Are you applying an actual mapped texture, or just a material?

I figured it out. When I imported the Collada there was no light on my scene. As for the texture stuff I had just unwrapped both Meshes on the same Texture even though I had applied different textures to them previously.
Thank You!
