Converted wiki to PDF for offline blender users (like me)

Post by m.ardito »

hi, i had no other chance that find a personal solution to read blender manuals offline, so, here is what i ended to. It's sufficient to me.
Made it with http://www.htmldoc.org/ (1.8.20) so, it should be fairly simple to update them :) although it will need a permanent space/site to keep only "latest" versions, and the "books" i built to generate each of them. suggestiona are welcome but i have no space and few time to spend on it :)

I made a pdf for each major chapter in the wiki manual here are the links:

sorry about "free user" rapidshare delay. i don't know any other sharing platform. i can upload all the stuff elsewhere, but i would prefer a "final" solution.

to all the blender developers:big THANKS for keeping a such high evolving rate, it's amazing. I hope having pdf manuals helps out people to catch up your developing speed :D

happy blending to all!

Hi everyone :D

Thanks for going through all the trouble of creating pdf's.

I was just wondering, could you please *puppy eyes  * create it as just one file? And maybe host it somewhere else (I honestly don't think rapidshare is the site to use :? )?

Just suggesting :)

Thank you in advance

hi, i have no problem to make one single pdf (i will just append them to one BIG pdf)

just tell me where to upload them, i really don't know a good free service...

anyway, as i said i could also share the "books" so anybody can simply "update" the pdfs, wit a click.

bye Marco

If you send the resulting binary to me, I can host it on planetblender or any of my other domains (blenderstorm, blender-fi.org, etc.)
