poly cut and slicing, I think it would be just dandy in blender.

The knife script does the trick, but from using lightwave, the knife script is a slow way of doing things
setup plane > select both > run script > press cut > delete doubles.
A knife tool is greate when using subsurfaces.

man somebody voted this a bad idea strange....

hmmm
my point is that for modeling it would be a great
tool very much used, I think it would be better
as an actual function/as pose to script, besides it
would be very populare..
