About this forum

Post by MonZop » Mon Dec 21, 2009 4:51 pm

During the Blender Conference 2009, a small group of people from around the world felt that the time is ripe to organize a group of those who use Blender in the fields of education, research and/or other institutional setting.
This forum is the place for discussion and exchange of experiences in these areas.

What will happen next depends entirely on if and how users will keep the idea alive. We will be very pleased to know if you have been able to use Blender for your studies and projects.
You might be a student or a professor, a scientist or a scientific communicator, or someone that set up museum activities and shows...

If you have been able (or have tried) to use Blender in your activity, we will be happy know the outcome of your efforts: please send a summary of your project and possibly include images/blend files or links to relevant pages.

Beside being a showcase for your work, this is also the place where other people might take inspiration or give suggestions for further uses.

This is just a beginning, let's work together to make the birth of a new open instrument for the distribution of knowledge to people of all levels of education! Looking forward towards your positive and constructive support.
