Is it possible to run any version of Blender on HaikuOS Alpha 3??? Many blender users, as well as myself, would greatly appreciate it if someone got working on a Haiku version for blender.

The basic requirements to build Blender are an ANSI/POSIX C/C++ compiler and and a video driver that supports OpenGL. No one I know on the development team uses HaikuOS, but that does not mean it cannot be done.

yes, but I have very little to no experience in ANSI, POSIX, C, or C++...
I just wish that blender would create a Haiku-compatible version of blender. I have the windows version as well and have really enjoyed using it (5 yrs so far)
