No matter how many segments I set in particle hair (I tried up to 50) and no matter how many steps in the path, if I convert to mesh it only comes in with 5 segments. I want to convert to use in an external renderer. Is there any way to get more than 5 segments in the mesh (other than subdividing the mesh once it is converted).
