Perpetual motion in physics engine?

I created this in blender using just the physics engine no animating at all. I wanted to see if it was possible, instead found out that blenders physics engine is not accurate at all or stable. ... tion.blend
my question is how stable and accurate can I get the physics engine.

Blender uses Bullet for its physics engine. Questions about numerical stability are probably better asked on a Bullet forum.
