Game Engine Mouse Cursor

Is there any way to change the mouse cursor in the game engine using python. I know how to turn the mouse cursor on and off, but can you change it from an arrow to say, a hand?

you could make a "real" 3d cursor in front of the cam, and link it to the mouse movements.
