Just wondering if anybody has considered the rather nice bone/posing system in the Japanese 3D modeller MarbleCLAY as a basis for any part of future Blender bone system development (a quick forum search produced no mentions). The links below provide a quick introduction to the MarbleCLAY approach. Although still under development, the software seems to be intuitive and easy to work with; there's less of that "OK, I've created a bunch of bones, now what the heck do I do?" feeling. Each bone is easily accessed for reworking, and yet you can still easily grasp the overall relationship of the bones to each other as structures get more complex. Maybe this is old news, but as new forum member, I'd be very interested to hear what people think.
