How to make an animation linked to a python script?

Post by Blutch » Sat Nov 30, 2002 3:06 pm

I want to make a REAL animation with a python script, I works correctly with ALT+P in the python window, but onthing moves with ALT+A in the main window... and I've already linked the script (in the lower part of the blender interface...)
Maybe my question sould be: "How to make an IPO from a python script?"

try this: select the object to be affected, press the script buttons in the toolbar. click at the button with the three arrows, then add your script on the LEFT! side with 'new' enter the script name and set it to 'redraw'.

hope that helps.

be aware of the tooltips.
