Two new locations are close to the conference venue, good quality and not expensive (stayok zeeburg, lloyds hotel).

That's a great help as I was struggling to find new (close) accommodation using Google Maps - Thanks!

I went with the new Stayokay in Zeeburg as I've used them for past conferences and have been quite happy with their (cheap) cost and service.
