The Blender Foundation, the GNOME Foundation (including the GIMP) and the Uni-verse consortium have partnered together to organize a presentation of Free and Open Source software for the entire Computer Graphics creation pipeline. You can find us for three days on a great island booth in the center of the Siggraph tradeshow.
Apart from our permanent demo stations and a large screen with public tutorials, we offer several systems for people freely to use.
Not only Blender, GIMP, new GNOME tools, and a range of Uni-Verse tools be shown, but we also have demos of Inkscape, Aqsis, Pixie and Jashaka.
Because we are official exhibitor, we can give out free tickets for people to visit the tradeshow (only tradeshow). You can apply for that, on a first-come-first-served base by email ton(at)blender.org with as topic “Siggraph tradeshow ticket”.
